Vanessa Ruff has more than 24 years of experience across the Australian Border Force and Australian Government, leading teams and working across some of Australia's most complex operational environments.

Her career has spanned frontline border operations, intelligence-led targeting, integrity investigations, civil maritime capability, international liaison and strategic leadership.

Vanessa has worked alongside government agencies and international partners across the Indo-Pacific, North America and beyond, helping strengthen collaboration, capability and organisational resilience.

She was also the first Australian Border Force officer posted to the United States, building enduring partnerships with United States, Canadian and South American agencies on supply chain integrity and border security initiatives.

Today, she brings that experience to organisations seeking practical advice on insider risk, supply chain resilience, maritime security and organisational integrity.
